Hello from exile

At least, my lack of posts to this blog sure seems to be exile. School is really keeping me busy. I just woke up from a short nap on the couch and read more from my text for the test Monday.

My internet meanderings of late, are just as few. Besides a prepared post here and there to my other blog and a short video production I made last weekend for a friend, my usual method of fun searching the internet has been set aside.

Nevertheless, since I'm taking a break, I did scrounge up a couple of cyber nuggets for your perusal. Enjoy!

Tolerance: A two-way street (from the Washington Post)
Charles, to paraphrase that good ol' 70s song, you took the words right out of my mouth.

Students Rebel against Turnitin (from the Washington Post)
An interesting reversal of argument on the popular plagiarism checker.

Some spinach safe to eat, feds say (from cnn.com)
Now, parents, we wonder why kids never wanted to eat spinach!

In and out again...

Finally, the books arrived from ecampus.com Thursday night. The tracking number they sent me, however, never did work.

So far this weekend...

Hubby bought another piece of Heywood Wakefield. He is squeezing it into every nook and cranny of our house.

Bubba is snoozing on the couch after a hard day of chasing dad around and playing with the other kids at the kitchen remodeling project. (Hubby's friend)

My friend Becky had boy #3 Friday. Hooray! No more high school friends pregnant. So far, boys 2, girls 0.
